'Worse, a singsong of Total Eclipse of the Heart trails off when he runs out of words before she does. 'Can two good actors and a gifted director, Josie Rourke, make this cocktail of cute ideas add up to more than the sum of its parts? Not quite,' they write. However the 'lovely' set design was praised, while Steiner's words - of which some have been rewritten since its debut - were applauded for standing the test the time.Įlsewhere The Times also offered three out of five stars, while claiming the play soon runs out of steam. Offering the play three out of five stars, Time Out magazine described it as 'a disarmingly bleak affair, or certainly in comparison to eight years ago' - with Brexit blamed for its 'dour' tone. He said: 'Give a gimmicky script like this one by Sam Steiner and they will inevitably wind up sounding like Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, waffling to kill time on This Morning.' MailOnline's Patrick Marmion gave the play two out of five stars and described the script as 'gimmicky'. However, despite the talent of the actors, critics have been left with a slightly sour taste in their mouth since the press night earlier this month. Jenna and Aidan take starring roles in this two-hander, which is a West End revival of Sam Steiner’s debut play of the same name - a huge success following its debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015. Once you look through a D500 viewfinder and see just how EVERYWHERE the focus points are, you'll understand why they're awesome for telephoto action work.Ensemble: Jenna, 36, stunned in a leather brown trench coat as she stepped out of the theatre's stage door Personally, if I were a wildlife shooter, I *WOULD* own more than one camera, and that 2nd body would without a doubt be a D500, or a D7200. I'm mainly directing my comments at folks who either don't yet have an FX body, or who are considering owning a SECOND camera to be used for telephoto work in general. Though, to your point, if you *already* own a full-frame body, especially a 3mp one, you ARE bet better off just renting / buying a 1.4x, 1.7x or 2X TC, depending on what your super-tele lens can handle without losing too much sharpness. And unless you have a 54mp FX body, I'd rather have 24mp on DX at optimal settings, instead of 24-36mp on FX and cropping. No, pixel density is a contributing factor to magnification, period. Astro simply an illusion of cropping the photo before you even capture it" ![]()
